- 1. General Information
a. Attach the employee card (chip) to the sensor on the desk top to unlock the drawer on the right for a few seconds.
i. The drawer contains remote controls for the projector, TV display, and videoconferencing equipment, or useful cabling.
ii. See individual room specifications for details.
b. The socket on the left is freely accessible and contains, amongst other things, a 230V multi-socket for power/charging.- 2. Computer
a. The school's all-in-one PC is located in the department. The controls are indicated on stickers placed on the desk top.
i. Log in to the computer:
ii. a CTU account (username/password)
iii. Windows will automatically connect your network drives.
iii. Your settings will be saved on that PC for the next login.
ii. guest account (bottom left of login screen) without password.
iii. Network drives, if needed, must be connected manually.
iii Guest profile will reset after logging out. Neither the settings nor the files stored in the user folders will be retained.
b. Connect the actual laptop with the HDMI connection cable (in the right socket) to the connection point on the table top.
i. The projector is automatically connected.
i. No other AV equipment is available for the custom laptop.- 3. Projection (school PC)
a. The classrooms are equipped with a projector, TV display and graphic tablet.
i. See individual room specifications for details.
b. Turn on the devices you want to use, especially the projector and tablet. (The TV is usually on in the "sleep" state.)
c. From the Windows desktop, launch the "Displays Setting" application.
i. Select one of the available modes.
i. Wait for the setup to complete. This may take a few seconds.
i. The set mode will remain saved on that PC for the next login.- 4. Graphics tablet (school PC)
a. A graphic tablet serves mainly as an electronic alternative to writing on a whiteboard.
i. The tablet pen is in a locking desk drawer.
b. Turn on the graphics tablet (if not running) with the button on the right side of the top of the tablet.
c. On the Windows desktop, launch the "Displays Setting" application and select the appropriate scenario, i.e. "Case 3, 5 or 6".
i. If the cursor moves to a screen other than the tablet screen when moving the graphics tablet pen, you need to switch the active tablet screen by pressing the tablet express button (first from the bottom in the vertical row).
i. For detailed information, the official manual is available.- 5. Sound system (school PC)
a. The basic sound system for the room is provided by a Logitech Rally AV set.
i. The set includes a table microphone and a wall speaker.
ii. In Windows audio settings, the input and output should be set to "Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (Logi Rally Audio)".
b. Other audio devices in the room:
i. Can be used as an alternative or replacement for Logitech Rally devices
ii. In certain circumstances, Windows may automatically set them as the default device
i. Speakers:
ii. The built-in speaker of the All-in-One
ii. Built-in TV display speaker on the front wall
ii. Built-in ceiling projector speaker
i. Microphones:
ii. Built-in microphone for All-in-One computer
ii. Rode kit, 2 microphones - wireless, lapel- 6. Videoconferencing (school PC)
a. The rooms are equipped with Logitech Rally AV set.
i. In MS Teams, check that the correct devices are set up for communication.
ii. Microphone and speakerphone: "Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (Logi Rally Audio)"
i. Recommendation: in the Displays Setting app, select the "Case 4" scenario.
ii. The presentation will be duplicated on the projection screen.
ii. You can place the remote participant previews on the TV display.- 7. General rules
a. It is strictly prohibited to tamper with the installed cabling in any way.
b. Do not forget to turn off the projector after the projection.
c. When you have finished working on the school PC, be sure to turn off the PC or log out.
d. Please address any problems or requests with the FJFI IT staff, we will be happy to assist you.

i. We will try to resolve any acute problems during the course of the course promptly.
